Meet OOPA's Friends
FDNY Division Chief Cheryl Middleton was born in NYC and raised in the Bronx. She has been an EMT for over 37 years and has made history as the second black woman to ascend to her current rank in the FDNY. On September 11, 2001 she served as a first responder at the World Trade Center.
Hear Chief Middleton share her connection to this project and why she believes this resource is so important for children, their families, and their teachers.
